Eyewear Comfort and Cleansing;

Don't Step on Your Opthamologist's Signed Numbered Limited Edition, You'll Save 100's!

  When the nose pads are AWOL (your nose is good for vision to hold your eyewear so it doesn't fall)! A method I've invented after about 20 years of trial and error instead of buying a whole new pair of eyewear at a whole new cost, is to make my own pads out of thumbtacks, I bought the more expensive type so the metal that's smooth is what contacts your nose. Use wire pliers to bend the tine of the thumbtack around nearer the side, leaving it at about a third of the way unclamped so you can thread the tine through the wires that held the pad (before it boosted to another cosmos!). With the tine where you can see if it matches, cut the sharp tip of the tine off a bit shorter than the radius of the "pad" of the thumbtack. Then thread the tine through the pad holding wire of your glasses and taking care not to scrape your lens (slowly clamp away from the side of the lens) clamp the tine of the thumbtack around so it is held on well by the wire of the tack. Bend the wire of your eyewear so it fits well and so the top arch wire of your eyewear itself won't hurt your nose, in other words divide up the pressure between the arch and pads, and carefully make sure the pads don't also clamp your nose too tight. This holds quite well. I found even with this the best method of 20 years search at least the first week that my nose still hurt somewhat (it's like a bruise and needs rest) so you can combine this with an early trick I also invented, to give your nose more rest; take a piece of scotch tape about two and 1/2 inches in length and bend the end around first on one side so it it bends around a cancels out the adhesion, then achieve this on the other end, leaving a bit of tape say 1/2 inch in the middle that's not doubled up so it will adhere to your nose at the top. The tape goes over your nose where the pads of the eyewear press a bit too much giving your nose a rest, ZZZZZZ. You can wear the tape on a day or two and then without because your nose needs rest and then it won't be in the marathon with a limp anymore and is the rest is the afterlife!

  Another later method I found is to just tear off a bit of duct tape and put it on the launchers so it actually adheres to the smoother zoom well! Trim off the tape around edges if you like, it even looks good and your eyewear is  you live so you dreams are with your eyes wide open and you are aware.

    You may see these eyewear repair kits but they seem to not have pads you can add to your zooms, rather just cheap adhesive pads you add to the pads already there, this seems of no worth if you've lost the pads before. There are the other two options of cheap eyewear like readers that have no pads with continuous eyewear from ear to ear, but these aren't as beautious, paying the optometrist for a new pair for 250 for just a new set of wires, this is exorbitant and rediculous, of both of these are more comic celebration when solved!

I tend to save my old glasses and not toss them out. You may get a bad perscription with costs saved by opthamologists these days and I got some bad I just asked if i could use the old ones and they said yes saving huindreds for another year or two. I find trifocals to be dumb! You always focus away right. I'm was thused more by VISA.

CLEANING YOUR EYEWEAR

 The compound of lense cleaner is good for biz, for the American Biz Institute, and smokers of no food and booze! To dry clean your eyewear, use a dry clean bit of your outfit like swimwear on your line when you wake up in the heat outside in the pool in summer. The problem seems there are usually small bits of stuff on your lenses left by this method (and certainly wet cleaning is worse if you have to wait for 10 minutes for it to dry) and just a bit of stuff is bad for the whole picture when magnified up millions of zooms! To solve this when your lens is generally clean via the above, just remove the rest of the small stuff with your fingernail, then clean the loose floss by the rag, bellissimo the mirthier!

How To Make Your Lenses Not Fall Off

 Like To Exercise and can't see if your ears hurt? My world was fuzzy till I took off the outer ear shields perscribed by the RN who saw me! A narrow wire inside causes reduced ear woe when you wear a hat or audiophones if you carefully bend the wire so it's exactly between your ear and your MRI! The end if sharp metal is all you may need to stop once the wide ear holders are ousted and the wire is left. I put just a bit of gold metalic duct tape or black duct tape around my earwear holders of each ear  to soften my ears and reduce the chafe left of the wire at the end. The tape is rubber and has lots of good ear traction so not much is needed, just say 2 8ths inch so no one can even see you're so way cool with golden tape you hear with so real well (as mom the english professor always knows real good.). Bending your wires both at the top where they reach down to your ears so your glasses will have a close fit to your nose also helps resduce all sliding. If the tape will slide I attract with small black clips for black tape a wrap around method than multiplies the force without a bulk of attraction on the ear.

  To not step on eyewear, if sometimes you don't have time to pick up all the room and so you can see your REMS better while you yawn and save 300 dollars when you save your lenses, a good way is to always put your eyewear on a shelf beside the light switch above other levels where you don't sort. When you wake up even if you can't see to find it you will by sense of feel.

 To level your earwires of your glasses so you don't have to walk around all the time at an angle, another trick of my own, put them on a level shelf and then bend them so they are level both for your lenses and the wires.

HOW TO ADJUST TO NEW GLASSES

 They've finally improved those horrible eye drops of the exam, now they are merely annoying not a map of the stars to see GPS, so you can proceed with confident rest to the opthamologist. Even so to stop the eye adjusting headache when you see with twice what you see awhile when your frames are live to see your FM, a good way to stop most of the headache is the herb ginger used below or above in your brows to reach your eyes by circulation (all I see is in months is my Opthamologist Melissa!). Ginger is a muscle relaxant, it also relaxes your body 8 ways, a better pain reliever in general than OTC's. Another good method to use with this while you adjust is an oil like pumpkin seed oil in your eyes, like ginger it's a powerful antinflammatory. Show me a sign, and I will read! Great for dry eye like computer is vitamin E right in my right and left eye, for me better by far than fish oil the standard recommended method.
